Human Fibroblast Growth Factor 19 ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com is designed for the quantitative measurement of human Fibroblast Growth Factor 19 (FGF19) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay has a stated sensitivity of 6.5 pg/ml and a working range of 15.6-1000 pg/ml.

The format uses a biotinylated anti-FGF19 detection antibody together with an HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, producing a yellow colour that is read at 450 nm in a microplate reader. Standards are prepared as a serial dilution down to 15.6 pg/ml, and samples are added at 100 μl per well following the sandwich immunoassay procedure. Components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.
