Human Fibroblast Growth Factor 10 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human FGF10 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids. The kit employs a pre-coated 96-well microplate configured as 12 × 8 well strips, with captured FGF10 detected using a biotinylated anti-FGF10 antibody and HRP-Avidin conjugate. Signal is developed with TMB substrate, terminated by acidic stop solution, and read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader, with the FGF10 concentration calculated against the standard curve.

The standard product range is 15.6–1000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of <5.7 pg/ml and a typical assay time of 4 h 30 m. In validation samples (n=5), average recovery was 91% for serum, 96% for EDTA plasma and 95% for heparin plasma. Linearity across dilutions of 1:2 to 1:16 remained broadly within the 73–110% range across the matrices tested. The kit is supplied with a pre-coated microplate, lyophilised standard, Detection Solutions A and B, 30X Wash Buffer, Sample Dilution Buffer, TMB Substrate, Stop Solution and adhesive plate sealers; components are stored between +4 °C and −20 °C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its stated expiry.
