Human Fibrinogen Gamma ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Fibrinogen gamma Chain in plasma. The assay employs the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique: an antibody specific for Fibrinogen gamma Chain is pre-coated onto the wells of a 12 x 8 well strip microplate, standards and samples are added, and captured analyte is detected with a Biotinylated Anti-Fibrinogen gamma Chain Antibody followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate. The colour change is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader, with the concentration of Fibrinogen gamma Chain calculated by reference to a standard curve.

The kit has a measuring range of 6.25–400 ng/ml and a sensitivity of 2.65 ng/ml, with a total assay time of approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Reported recovery ranges are 80%–102% (average 91%) for serum, 81%–100% (average 90%) for EDTA plasma, and 80%–89% (average 84%) for heparin plasma (n=5). Components supplied include a pre-coated microplate, lyophilized standard, Detection Solution A, Detection Solution B, 30X Wash Buffer, Sample Dilution Buffer, TMB Substrate, Stop Solution, and plate sealers. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as indicated and not used past the expiration date.
