Human Fibrinogen Alpha ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) supplied by Antibodies.com for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Fibrinogen Alpha Chain in plasma and other biological fluids. The kit uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips), with standards and samples added to wells containing an immobilised capture antibody. Bound target is detected using a biotinylated anti-Fibrinogen Alpha Chain antibody followed by HRP-avidin conjugate, with TMB substrate producing a yellow colour proportional to analyte concentration that is read at 450 nm.

Sensitivity is <1.13 ng/ml and the working range is 3.12-200 ng/ml. Total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. Reported average recovery values are 91% for serum, 90% for EDTA plasma and 84% for heparin plasma, with dilution linearity demonstrated across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
