Human Fc Fragment Of IgG Low Affinity IIIb Receptor ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human CD16b in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate and a biotinylated anti-CD16b detection antibody, followed by an HRP-avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is used to visualize the reaction, producing a colour change from blue to yellow after addition of acidic stop solution, read at 450 nm in a microplate reader.

The kit reports a sensitivity of 0.55 ng/ml and an assay range of 1.25–80 ng/ml, with a total assay time of approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Sample recovery has been evaluated: serum (n=5, 83–100%, average 91%), EDTA plasma (n=5, 91–99%, average 95%) and heparin plasma (n=5, 90–99%, average 94%). The product is reactive with human samples and is for research use only.

Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit must not be used past its expiration date. A microplate reader capable of measuring absorbance at 450 nm ± 10 nm is required but is not provided.
