Human Fc Fragment Of IgG Binding Protein ELISA Kit

Antibodies.com provides a sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) for the in vitro quantitative measurement of human FCGBP (Fc Fragment Of IgG Binding Protein) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate of 12 x 8 well strips and is read on a colorimetric microplate reader at 450 nm.

Performance characteristics include a sensitivity of 0.116 ng/ml and an assay range of 0.312-20 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. The procedure follows a standard sandwich immunoassay workflow: after sample binding to the immobilised antibody, a Biotinylated Anti-FCGBP Antibody is added, followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is then catalysed to produce a blue product that changes to yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution, with absorbance at 450 nm proportional to FCGBP concentration.
