Human Fas Ligand ELISA Kit

This sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Fas Ligand in cell culture supernatant, serum and plasma. The kit can assay both native and recombinant human Fas Ligand, and no significant cross-reactivity has been reported.

Based on the quantitative sandwich ELISA technique, the assay uses a monoclonal antibody specific for human Fas Ligand pre-coated onto microwells. Standards or samples are pipetted into the wells, followed by a biotin-linked monoclonal antibody specific for Fas Ligand. After unbound substances are removed, streptavidin-HRP is added for a second incubation. Substrate solution then reacts with HRP and develops colour in proportion to the amount of Fas Ligand bound. The colour development is stopped by the addition of acid and the optical density is measured by a microplate reader.

The reported product range is 15.63 - 1000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of 3.42 pg/ml. Detection is colourimetric on a microplate platform. Average recovery from serum samples is 97%. Store at +4°C and do not use past the expiration date.
