Human F1+2 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Prothrombin Fragment 1 + 2 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, and other biological fluids. The assay runs on a pre-coated microplate (12 x 8 well strips) and follows a 4-hour protocol using a biotinylated detection antibody, HRP-Streptavidin conjugate, and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm. The kit is reactive with human samples and is reported to be specific for Prothrombin Fragment 1 + 2 with no reported cross-reactivity with other analogs or variants.

The assay covers a product range of 46.875–3000 pg/mL with a sensitivity of <28.125 pg/mL. Serum and plasma samples may affect test results and should be diluted at least 1:2 with Sample Dilution Buffer prior to testing; validated sample dilutions include healthy plasma (1:50–1:100) and plasma from patients with disseminated intravascular coagulation (1:100–1:2000).

Kit components are shipped and stored at +4°C (with certain components stored at -20°C as instructed in the protocol manual) and include a pre-coated microplate, lyophilized standard, sample dilution buffer, biotinylated detection antibody, antibody dilution buffer, HRP-Streptavidin conjugate, SABC dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution, 25X wash buffer, plate sealers, and a foil zip-sealed pouch. The kit should not be used past expiration date or subjected to freeze/thaw cycles.
