From Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human CD147 / Extracellular Matrix Metalloproteinase Inducer. The assay is reactive with human samples and can be used on serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, or other biological fluids. It employs the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique using a pre-coated microplate to capture the target, followed by incubation with a Biotinylated Anti-CD147 Antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate.

A TMB substrate solution is then used to visualize the enzymatic reaction, producing a blue-coloured product that changes to yellow after the addition of acidic stop solution. The concentration of CD147 is calculated by reading the O.D. absorbance at 450nm in a colorimetric microplate reader. The kit has a sensitivity of <11.4 pg/ml, an assay range of 31.2-2000 pg/ml, and a total assay time of 4h 30m. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.
