Human Exportin 5 ELISA Kit

Manufactured for Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit enables in vitro quantitative determination of human Exportin-5 in tissue homogenates, cell lysates or other biological fluids. An antibody specific for Exportin-5 is pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and test samples are added to the wells, where Exportin-5 is captured by the immobilized antibody. Following incubation and washing, a Biotinylated Anti-Exportin-5 Antibody is added, followed by HRP-Avidin conjugate. After further incubation and washing, TMB substrate is used to visualize the HRP enzymatic reaction, producing a blue-coloured product that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution. Absorbance is read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader, and Exportin-5 concentration is calculated by reference to the standard curve.

Reported sensitivity is <0.115 ng/ml, with an assay range of 0.312–20 ng/ml. Total assay time is approximately 4h 30m. Recovery performance has been reported as follows: serum (n=5) range 80%–102%, average 91%; EDTA plasma (n=5) range 81%–100%, average 90%; heparin plasma (n=5) range 80%–89%, average 84%. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
