Human Exostoses Like Protein 1 ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Exostoses Like Protein 1 (EXTL1) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. The assay employs a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) with an antibody specific for EXTL1, followed by a biotinylated anti-EXTL1 detection antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate. Signal is developed with TMB substrate and read at 450 nm using a colorimetric microplate reader, with the density of yellow proportional to EXTL1 concentration.

Sensitivity is 0.115 ng/ml and the assay range is 0.312–20 ng/ml, with a typical total run time of 4h 30m. Reported spike-and-recovery averages are 91% in serum (range 80–102%), 90% in EDTA plasma (range 81–100%) and 84% in heparin plasma (range 80–89%); linearity data are provided for 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions across serum (87–91% to 92–97%), EDTA plasma (90–105% to 79–108%) and heparin plasma (84–95% to 89–91%).
