Human Exostoses 1 ELISA Kit

Antibodies.com offers a sandwich ELISA for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Ext1 (Exostoses 1) in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a 96-well microplate pre-coated with an antibody specific for Ext1; standards and samples are added, the wells are washed, and detection proceeds via a biotinylated anti-Ext1 antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate, with TMB substrate read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The quantitative assay range is 0.781–50 ng/ml with a sensitivity of 0.28 ng/ml, and the total assay time is 4h 30m. Spike-and-recovery has been characterised in serum (average 91%, range 80–102%, n=5), EDTA plasma (average 90%, range 81–100%, n=5) and heparin plasma (average 84%, range 80–89%, n=5). Dilution linearity was assessed at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 across the same sample types.
