Human Excitatory Amino Acid Transporter 1 ELISA Kit

This sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) kit from Antibodies.com is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Excitatory Amino Acid Transporter 1 (EAAT1) in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate with an immobilised anti-EAAT1 antibody, a biotinylated anti-EAAT1 detection antibody, an HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The reported assay range is 0.312-20 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.123 ng/ml, and the total assay time is 4h 30m. Recovery validation (n=5 per matrix) gave an average of 91% in serum (range 80-102%), 90% in EDTA plasma (range 81-100%) and 84% in heparin plasma (range 80-89%). Dilution linearity at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 was demonstrated at 74-107% in serum, 79-108% in EDTA plasma and 82-105% in heparin plasma.
