Human Estrogen Receptor Beta ELISA Kit

Antibodies.com offers a sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Estrogen Receptor beta in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, and other biological fluids.

The assay uses a pre-coated microplate format with colorimetric detection read at 450 nm. Standards and samples are incubated in wells pre-coated with an Estrogen Receptor beta-specific antibody, followed by detection with a biotinylated anti-Estrogen Receptor beta antibody and HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is then used to visualise the HRP enzymatic reaction, producing a blue product that changes to yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution. The intensity of the yellow colour is directly proportional to the amount of Estrogen Receptor beta captured in each well, allowing concentration to be calculated against a standard curve.

The quantitative product range is 0.312–20 ng/ml with a sensitivity of 0.115 ng/ml and a total run time of 4 hours 30 minutes. The assay is reactive with human samples and specific for Estrogen Receptor beta. Recovery has been validated in serum (80–102%), EDTA plasma (81–100%), and heparin plasma (80–89%), with linearity demonstrated across serial dilutions. Kit components are stored at +4°C or –20°C as instructed.
