Human Estrogen Receptor Alpha ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Estrogen Receptor alpha in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips), with captured target bound by a biotinylated anti-Estrogen Receptor alpha antibody and detected using an HRP-Avidin conjugate. Signal is generated with TMB substrate and read at 450 nm; absorbance is proportional to the amount of Estrogen Receptor alpha captured, and the concentration is calculated by reference to a standard curve. The reported product range is 0.625–40 ng/ml, with a sensitivity of <0.255 ng/ml, and the standard assay time is 4h 30m. Spike-and-recovery performance is reported in serum (80–102%), EDTA plasma (81–100%) and heparin plasma (80–89%), with data across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions provided for each matrix.
