Human Erythropoietin Receptor ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com for the in vitro quantitative determination of human EPO-R in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The format uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, and the assay is read on a colorimetric microplate reader at 450 nm. The protein target is EPO-R, also referred to as Erythropoietin Receptor.

Reported sensitivity is <0.057 ng/ml with an assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml. Total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes and the kit is for use with human samples only. Components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.

Spike-and-recovery testing gave average values of 91% in serum (n=5, 80%–102%), 90% in EDTA plasma (n=5, 81%–100%) and 84% in heparin plasma (n=5, 80%–89%). Dilution linearity was tested at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16, with serum ranges of 87%–91%, 87%–107%, 74%–101% and 92%–97% (n=5); EDTA plasma ranges of 90%–105%, 84%–101%, 90%–101% and 79%–108% (n=5); and heparin plasma ranges of 84%–95%, 92%–105%, 82%–105% and 89%–91% (n=5).
