Human Epithelial Membrane Protein 3 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit enables quantitative in vitro determination of human Epithelial Membrane Protein 3 (EMP3) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, serum, EDTA plasma, heparin plasma and other biological fluids. The assay uses an antibody specific for EMP3 pre-coated onto a microplate; bound EMP3 is detected using a biotinylated anti-EMP3 antibody followed by HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm on a microplate reader.

Reported sensitivity is <0.099 ng/ml with a standard curve range of 0.312–20 ng/ml, and the full protocol is completed in 4 hours 30 minutes using colourimetric detection. Performance validation across sample matrices shows ranges of 80–102% (average 91%) for serum (n=5), 81–100% (average 90%) for EDTA plasma (n=5), and 80–89% (average 84%) for heparin plasma (n=5). Dilutional linearity at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 is 87–91%, 87–107%, 74–101% and 92–97% for serum; 90–105%, 84–101%, 90–101% and 79–108% for EDTA plasma; and 84–95%, 92–105%, 82–105% and 89–91% for heparin plasma.

Reagents supplied include a pre-coated microplate, lyophilized standard, detection solutions A and B, wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and adhesive plate sealers. Components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as indicated, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
