Human Epithelial Cell Adhesion Molecule ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Epithelial Cell Adhesion Molecule (EpCAM) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. The 4h 30m assay uses a pre-coated microplate with Biotinylated Anti-EpCAM Antibody and HRP-Avidin detection, producing a yellow TMB product read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

Sensitivity is reported as <13.4 pg/ml with an assay range of 31.2-2000 pg/ml. Recovery is 91% (range 80-102%, n=5) in serum, 90% (range 81-100%, n=5) in EDTA plasma and 84% (range 80-89%, n=5) in heparin plasma. Dilutional linearity is provided across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma sample types.

Kit components include a pre-coated microplate, lyophilized standard, Detection Solution A, Detection Solution B, 30X Wash Buffer, Sample Dilution Buffer, TMB Substrate, Stop Solution and plate sealers. Components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
