Human Epiregulin ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Epiregulin in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay employs a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips); standards and samples are captured by an immobilized anti-Epiregulin antibody and detected with a biotinylated anti-Epiregulin antibody, an HRP-avidin conjugate and a TMB substrate, with the reaction stopped to yield a yellow product whose absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The standard curve covers 15.6–1000 pg/ml, with a reported sensitivity of <6.1 pg/ml and a total assay time of 4 h 30 min. Kit components are stored at +4 °C or –20 °C as instructed and should not be used past the stated expiration date.

Spike-and-recovery at n = 5 is reported as 80–102% (mean 91%) for serum, 81–100% (mean 90%) for EDTA plasma and 80–89% (mean 84%) for heparin plasma. Parallel dilution linearity at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 for the same three matrices falls between 74% and 108%.
