Human Epiphycan ELISA Kit

The Human Epiphycan ELISA Kit from Antibodies.com is a sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Epiphycan in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. It is intended for research use only.

The kit employs the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique, using an antibody specific for Epiphycan pre-coated onto a 96-well microtiter plate. Standards and test samples are added to the wells, where Epiphycan is captured by the immobilized antibody. After washing, a Biotinylated Anti-Epiphycan Antibody is added, followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate. Detection relies on a TMB substrate solution, producing a blue colour that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution. The concentration of Epiphycan is calculated by reading the O.D. absorbance at 450 nm in a microplate reader and referring to the standard curve. The reported sensitivity is <0.056 ng/ml, with an assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml and a total assay time of 4h 30m. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.
