Human Ephrin Type A Receptor 3 ELISA Kit

This Antibodies.com sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Eph Receptor A3 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. The assay employs the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique on a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 × 8 well strips, with colourimetric detection by reading the optical density at 450 nm in a microplate reader. Standards and samples are added to the wells, where Eph Receptor A3 is captured by the immobilised antibody; a biotinylated anti-Eph Receptor A3 detection antibody and HRP-avidin conjugate are then applied, followed by TMB substrate that produces a yellow product whose intensity is proportional to the target concentration.

According to the manufacturer, the product range is 0.312-20 ng/ml and the sensitivity is 0.108 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Reported average recoveries across five replicates are 91% for serum (range 80%-102%), 90% for EDTA plasma (range 81%-100%) and 84% for heparin plasma (range 80%-89%), with linear dilution performance reported from 1:2 to 1:16 across the same sample types.

Kit components include a pre-coated 96-well microplate, two vials of lyophilised standard, detection solutions A and B (120 µl each), 30× wash buffer (20 ml), sample dilution buffer (45 ml), TMB substrate (9 ml), stop solution (6 ml) and adhesive plate sealers. Kit components are stored at +4 °C or −20 °C as instructed.
