Human Eosinophil Chemotactic Factor ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Eotaxin in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate (12 x 8 well strips) and a Biotinylated Anti-Eotaxin Antibody / HRP-Avidin detection workflow, with signal generated by TMB substrate, terminated with an acidic stop solution, and read as absorbance at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The standard curve covers 15.6-1000 pg/ml, with a sensitivity of 6.2 pg/ml. Average recovery values reported are 91% for serum (range 80%-102%), 90% for EDTA plasma (range 81%-100%) and 84% for heparin plasma (range 80%-89%). Dilution linearity (1:2, 1:4, 1:8, 1:16) is documented for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma. Total assay time is 4h 30m.

The target is Eotaxin, also known by the synonyms C-C motif chemokine 11, CCL11, Eosinophil chemotactic protein, SCYA11 and Small-inducible cytokine A11. The kit contains a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips), lyophilised standard (2 vials), Detection Solution A and B (120 µl each), 30X wash buffer (20 ml), sample dilution buffer (45 ml), TMB substrate (9 ml), stop solution (6 ml) and adhesive plate sealers (5 strips). Kit components are stored between +4°C and -20°C as indicated, and the kit is not used past its expiration date.
