Human Envoplakin ELISA Kit

Antibodies.com provides this sandwich ELISA (sELISA) for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Envoplakin (EVPL) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, with an EVPL-specific capture antibody immobilised on the plate. Standards and samples are added, followed by a Biotinylated Anti-EVPL Antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is then added and the enzymatic reaction is stopped with an acidic stop solution, producing a yellow colour whose intensity is proportional to EVPL captured in each well. The optical density is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader and the concentration is calculated against the standard curve.

Reported performance includes a product range of 0.156–10 ng/ml and a sensitivity of 0.064 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. The kit is intended for research use only. Supplied components include the pre-coated microplate, lyophilised standard (2 vials), Detection Solution A (120 μl), Detection Solution B (120 μl), Wash Buffer (30X, 20 ml), Sample Dilution Buffer (45 ml), TMB Substrate (9 ml), Stop Solution (6 ml) and plate sealers, stored at +4°C or −20°C as instructed. Recovery has been reported for serum (80–102%, average 91%), EDTA plasma (81–100%, average 90%) and heparin plasma (80–89%, average 84%), with dilutional linearity data provided for each sample type across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions.
