Human Enolase, Neuron Specific ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com enables the in vitro quantitative determination of human Neuron Specific Enolase (NSE/ENO2) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a microtiter plate pre-coated with an antibody specific for NSE/ENO2; standards and samples are added, captured NSE/ENO2 is detected with a biotinylated anti-NSE/ENO2 antibody, and an HRP-avidin conjugate together with TMB substrate produces a colour change read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

Quantification is supported across a product range of 0.625–40 ng/ml with a sensitivity of 0.229 ng/ml. Recovery has been characterised in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma across dilution series from 1:2 to 1:16, and the total assay time is 4h 30m. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and the kit must not be used past its expiration date.
