From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA is designed for the quantitative in vitro determination of human Enhancer Of Zeste Homolog 1 (EZH1) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, serum, plasma and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate with a biotinylated anti-EZH1 detection antibody, an HRP-avidin conjugate and a TMB substrate, and the colour change is read as optical density at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. The total assay time is 4h 30m.

The kit has a stated sensitivity of 0.113 ng/ml and an assay range of 0.312–20 ng/ml. According to the manufacturer's documentation, recovery in serum ranges from 80% to 102% (average 91%, n=5), in EDTA plasma from 81% to 100% (average 90%, n=5), and in heparin plasma from 80% to 89% (average 84%, n=5).
