Human Endothelin Receptor A ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Endothelin A Receptor (ET-A) in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The microplate is pre-coated with an antibody specific for Endothelin A Receptor/ET-A; standards and samples are added, followed by a biotinylated anti-ET-A antibody, an HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate. The enzymatic reaction is visualised by addition of acidic stop solution and read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader, with the absorbance of the yellow product proportional to the amount of ET-A captured in each well. Reported sensitivity is 0.053 ng/ml and the assay range is 0.156-10 ng/ml. Total assay time is 4h 30m.

Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and the kit should not be used past its expiration date. Reported spike-and-recovery values include serum (n=5) range 80-102% with average 91%, EDTA plasma (n=5) range 81-100% with average 90%, and heparin plasma (n=5) range 80-89% with average 84%. Dilution linearity at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 was reported for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma sample types.
