Human Endothelin Converting Enzyme 1 ELISA Kit

This Antibodies.com kit is a sandwich ELISA for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Endothelin Converting Enzyme 1 (ECE1) in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The platform is a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8-well strips), using an immobilised anti-ECE1 capture antibody together with a Biotinylated Anti-ECE1 detection antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. Signal is generated by TMB substrate and read at 450 nm on a colourimetric microplate reader.

The manufacturer reports an assay range of 31.2–2000 pg/ml, a sensitivity of <11.3 pg/ml, and a total assay time of 4 h 30 min. Components are stored between +4°C and –20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past the expiration date.

Spike-and-recovery and dilution linearity have been evaluated in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma (n=5 per matrix), with mean recoveries of 91% (serum), 90% (EDTA plasma) and 84% (heparin plasma).
