Human Elastin Microfibril Interface Located Protein 1 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Elastin Microfibril Interface Located Protein 1 (EMILIN1) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay uses the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique, in which an antibody specific for EMILIN1 is pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and test samples are added to the wells and bound EMILIN1 is detected using a Biotinylated Anti-EMILIN1 Antibody, HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

Performance characteristics reported by the manufacturer include a sensitivity of <0.64 ng/ml and an assay range of 1.56–100 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m.
