Human Elastin ELISA Kit

Designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Elastin, this Antibodies.com sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) is suitable for serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, and other biological fluids. Detection is performed colorimetrically on a pre-coated 96-well microplate, formatted as 12 x 8 well strips, with absorbance read at 450 nm.

The kit offers a sensitivity of <0.21 ng/ml and an assay range of 0.468–30 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Spike-and-recovery validation showed serum recovery of 80%–102% (average 91%, n=5), EDTA plasma recovery of 81%–100% (average 90%, n=5), and heparin plasma recovery of 80%–89% (average 84%, n=5). Dilution linearity was validated at 1:2 to 1:16 for each matrix.
