Human Elastase 3B ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Elastase 3B in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, with captured target bound by a biotinylated anti-Elastase 3B antibody and detected using an HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate. Absorbance is read at 450nm on a colourimetric microplate reader.

The reported assay range is 0.312–20 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.135 ng/ml, and the total assay time is 4h 30m. Spike-and-recovery in serum (n=5) averaged 91% (range 83%–100%), in EDTA plasma (n=5) 94% (range 91%–98%), and in Heparin plasma (n=5) 94% (range 90%–99%). Dilution linearity has been characterised for serum, EDTA plasma and Heparin plasma at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions. Kit components are stored at +4°C or −20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
