Human Elastase 3A ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Elastase 3A in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. It employs the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique, using a pre-coated microplate together with a biotinylated anti-Elastase 3A detection antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate. The enzymatic reaction is visualised with TMB substrate, producing a colour change whose intensity is read at 450 nm on a microplate reader.

The stated assay range is 0.312–20 ng/ml, with a sensitivity of <0.113 ng/ml. Reported recovery data are: serum (n=5) ranged 83%–100% (average 91%); EDTA plasma (n=5) 91%–98% (average 94%); heparin plasma (n=5) 90%–99% (average 94%). Dilution linearity was assessed at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16. For serum (n=5) the ranges were 78%–102%, 90%–100%, 80%–104% and 86%–97% respectively; for EDTA plasma (n=5) 95%–103%, 81%–109%, 87%–91% and 88%–107%; for heparin plasma (n=5) 74%–101%, 92%–97%, 90%–105% and 84%–102%. Total assay time is 4h 30m and detection is colorimetric.
