Human EGF ELISA Kit

The assay uses a pre-coated microplate in a sandwich immunoassay format. Standards and samples are added to the wells, where EGF binds to an immobilised capture antibody. A biotinylated detection antibody and an HRP-Streptavidin conjugate are added sequentially to form an antibody-antigen-antibody sandwich complex, and a TMB substrate is introduced to produce a colour change. The absorbance is read at 450 nm, and EGF concentration is determined by comparison with a standard curve.
