Human Early Growth Response Protein 1 ELISA Kit

The Antibodies.com sandwich ELISA kit is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Early Growth Response Protein 1 (Egr1) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, and other biological fluids. An antibody specific for Egr1 is pre-coated onto a 96-well microplate. Standards and samples are added to the wells, followed by a biotinylated anti-Egr1 antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate produces a blue-coloured product that turns yellow after addition of acidic stop solution, with absorbance read at 450nm in a microplate reader.

Reported sensitivity is 0.057 ng/ml and the assay range is 0.156-10 ng/ml. Total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. Reagents are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.

Validation data from n=5 samples show average recovery of 91% in serum (range 80%-102%), 90% in EDTA plasma (range 81%-100%), and 84% in heparin plasma (range 80%-89%). Across dilution factors of 1:2 to 1:16, linearity recoveries ranged from 87-91% to 92-97% in serum, 90-105% to 79-108% in EDTA plasma, and 84-95% to 89-91% in heparin plasma.
