Human Early Endosome Antigen 1 ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Early Endosome Antigen 1 (EEA1) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, or other biological fluids.

The assay uses a pre-coated microplate onto which an antibody specific for EEA1 is immobilised. Standards and samples are added to the wells, and captured analyte is detected using a biotinylated anti-EEA1 antibody followed by an HRP-avidin conjugate. The enzymatic reaction is visualised with a TMB substrate, producing a blue colour that changes to yellow upon addition of the stop solution. Absorbance is read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader, and the concentration of EEA1 is calculated by reference to a standard curve.

The kit reports a sensitivity of 0.128 ng/ml, an assay range of 0.312-20 ng/ml, and a total assay time of 4h 30m. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and should not be used past the expiration date. The product is for research use only.
