The assay employs a biotinylated anti-E2F3 antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate, with bound E2F3 visualised using TMB substrate solution and quantified by reading the O.D. absorbance at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader.

The assay uses a pre-coated microplate platform configured as 12 x 8 well strips, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. The stated product range is 0.156–10 ng/ml and the sensitivity is <0.072 ng/ml.
