Human Drebrin 1 ELISA Kit

Sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com for the quantitative determination of human Drebrin 1 in tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips and is read on a colorimetric microplate reader at 450 nm. Samples and standards are captured by an immobilised anti-Drebrin antibody, then detected with a Biotinylated Anti-Drebrin Antibody and HRP-Avidin conjugate, with bound analyte visualised using TMB substrate.

According to the manufacturer, the assay range is 0.156-10 ng/ml with a sensitivity of 0.047 ng/ml, and the total assay time is 4h 30m. Reported spike-and-recovery averages are 91% for serum (n=5, range 80%-102%), 90% for EDTA plasma (n=5, range 81%-100%) and 84% for heparin plasma (n=5, range 80%-89%), with parallel linear dilution data (1:2 to 1:16) provided for the three sample types.

Components supplied include a pre-coated 96 well microplate, lyophilised standard (2 vials), Detection Solution A (120 μl), Detection Solution B (120 μl), 30X Wash Buffer (20 ml), Sample Dilution Buffer (45 ml), TMB Substrate (9 ml), Stop Solution (6 ml) and plate sealers (5 adhesive strips). Storage conditions are +4°C or -20°C as instructed.
