Human DPPIV ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human DPPIV in cell culture supernatant, serum and plasma. The kit is based on the quantitative sandwich ELISA technique. A monoclonal antibody specific for human DPPIV is immobilised onto microwells. Standards or samples are pipetted into the wells, followed by the addition of biotin-linked detect antibody specific for DPPIV; any DPPIV present is bound by the immobilised antibody and detect antibody following the first incubation. After removal of any unbound substances, streptavidin-HRP is added for a second incubation. After washing, substrate solution reacts with HRP and colour develops in proportion to the amount of DPPIV bound. Colour development is stopped by addition of acid and the optical density is measured by a microplate reader.

The kit has shown no significant cross-reactivity and can assay both native and recombinant human DPPIV. The assay range is 15.63 - 1000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of <3.04 pg/ml. The assay is a sandwich (quantitative) format with colorimetric detection on a microplate platform. Reagent should be stored at +4°C and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
