Human Dopa Decarboxylase ELISA Kit

Manufactured for Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human DOPA Decarboxylase/DDC in tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. The kit is reactive with human samples and runs as a quantitative sandwich assay on a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips.

The product range is 0.156-10 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.068 ng/ml. Total assay time is 4h 30m and detection is colorimetric, read by absorbance at 450nm in a microplate reader. Standards and samples are captured by an immobilised antibody, detected with a Biotinylated Anti-DOPA Decarboxylase/DDC Antibody and HRP-Avidin conjugate, then visualised using TMB substrate that produces a blue product changing to yellow after addition of acidic stop solution. Recovery in serum (n=5) averaged 91% (range 80-102%), in EDTA plasma 90% (81-100%) and in heparin plasma 84% (80-89%).
