Human DnaJ/HSP40 Homolog Subfamily C, Member 12 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human DNAJC12 in tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The assay uses the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique, with an antibody specific for DNAJC12 pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and samples are added to the wells, followed by a biotinylated anti-DNAJC12 antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate produces a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution, and absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

Sensitivity is 0.057 ng/ml and the assay range is 0.156-10 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. Reported recovery in serum (n=5) averaged 91% (range 83-100%), in EDTA plasma (n=5) 94% (90-98%), and in heparin plasma (n=5) 95% (89-102%). Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the product is for research use only.
