Human DNA Repair Protein RAD50 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this Sandwich ELISA kit enables the quantitative determination of human DNA Repair Protein RAD50 (Rad50) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, and other biological fluids. The assay uses the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique, with an antibody specific for Rad50 pre-coated onto a 96-well microplate.

Standards and test samples are added to the wells, where Rad50 binds to the immobilized capture antibody. Following incubation and washing, a Biotinylated Anti-Rad50 Antibody binds the captured Rad50, after which an HRP-Avidin conjugate is added. TMB substrate solution visualises the HRP enzymatic reaction, producing a blue product that changes colour after the addition of acidic stop solution. Absorbance is read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader, and Rad50 concentration is calculated by reference to the standard curve.

Reported sensitivity is <0.057 ng/ml with a product range of 0.156-10 ng/ml and a total assay time of 4h 30m. Reported average sample recovery values include 91% for serum, 94% for EDTA plasma, and 96% for heparin plasma (each n=5). Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.
