Human DNA Methyltransferase 1 ELISA Kit

Manufactured for Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA (sELISA) is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human DNA Methyltransferase 1 (Dnmt1) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, with an antibody specific for Dnmt1 immobilised on the plate. Detection is achieved through a biotinylated anti-Dnmt1 antibody, an HRP-avidin conjugate, and a TMB substrate, producing a colour change that is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

Quantitative performance is reported with an assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.054 ng/ml, with the full protocol completed in 4 hours 30 minutes. Reported recovery values for spiked samples are: human serum range 80–102%, average 91%; EDTA plasma range 81–100%, average 90%; heparin plasma range 80–89%, average 84%. The kit is reactive for human samples, and components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.
