Manufactured for Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit enables the in vitro quantitative determination of human DDIT3 (DNA Damage Inducible Transcript 3) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a 12 x 8 well strip pre-coated microplate and the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique, in which standards and samples are added to wells where DDIT3 is captured by an immobilised antibody, then detected using a Biotinylated Anti-DDIT3 Antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. A TMB substrate produces a blue product that turns yellow after addition of acidic stop solution, with absorbance read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader and concentration calculated from a standard curve.

The kit reports a sensitivity of <0.138 ng/ml and an assay range of 0.312–20 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. Sample recovery has been validated across serum (average 91%, n=5), EDTA plasma (90%, n=5) and heparin plasma (84%, n=5), with linear dilution performance demonstrated from 1:2 to 1:16 across the same matrices. Components are stored at +4 °C or –20 °C as instructed and should not be used past the expiration date.
