Human DKKL1 ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human DKKL1 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, and other biological fluids. The 4-hour assay uses a pre-coated microplate and is specific for DKKL1 with no reported cross-reactivity with other analogs or variants.

Standards and samples are added to wells pre-coated with an antibody specific for DKKL1. Following incubation and washing, a biotinylated detection antibody is added to form an antibody-antigen-antibody sandwich complex. HRP-Streptavidin conjugate and TMB substrate are then introduced, producing a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution. Absorbance is read at 450 nm, with the intensity of the yellow colour directly proportional to the concentration of DKKL1 captured in each well. Detection is colorimetric on a microplate reader.

The standard curve range is 78.125-5000 pg/mL with a sensitivity of <46.875 pg/mL. Average recoveries are 96% in serum (range 90%-102%), 98% in EDTA plasma (range 88%-103%), and 98% in heparin plasma (range 87%-104%). Across dilutions of 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8, recovery spans 85-105% in serum, 82-101% in EDTA plasma, and 81-104% in heparin plasma. Components are shipped at +4°C and stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed in the Protocol Manual; freeze/thaw cycles should be avoided and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
