Human Discs, Large Homolog Associated Protein 5 ELISA Kit

This sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human HURP (also referred to as Discs, Large Homolog Associated Protein 5) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates or other biological fluids. The 96-well microplate is pre-coated with an antibody specific for HURP; bound analyte is detected with a biotinylated anti-HURP antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate, visualised with TMB substrate and read at 450 nm in a microplate reader.

Stated sensitivity is 0.113 ng/ml and the standard curve covers 0.312–20 ng/ml. Reported average recovery is 91% in serum (range 80%–102%, n=5), 91% in EDTA plasma (81%–101%, n=5) and 84% in heparin plasma (80%–89%, n=5). Linearity at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 is reported at 87–91%, 87–107%, 74–101% and 92–97% for serum; 90–105%, 84–101%, 90–101% and 79–108% for EDTA plasma; and 84–95%, 92–105%, 82–105% and 89–91% for heparin plasma. Total assay time is approximately 4 h 30 min.

Kit components include a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips), lyophilised standard (2 vials), Detection Solution A (120 μl), Detection Solution B (120 μl), 30X Wash Buffer (20 ml), Sample Dilution Buffer (45 ml), TMB Substrate (9 ml), Stop Solution (6 ml) and plate sealers (5 adhesive strips). Components are stored at +4 °C or –20 °C as indicated.
