Human Dipeptidase 3 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human DPEP3 (Dipeptidase 3) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates or other biological fluids. The kit is configured for human samples and is run on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate supplied as 12 x 8 well strips, with an antibody specific for DPEP3 immobilised on the plate. Standards and test samples are added to the wells; captured DPEP3 is bound by a Biotinylated Anti-DPEP3 Antibody, and detection is performed using HRP-Avidin conjugate with TMB substrate. The reaction is stopped with acidic stop solution and absorbance is read at 450 nm. Total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.

Performance specifications include a sensitivity of <0.105 ng/ml and an assay range of 0.312–20 ng/ml. Recovery in serum (n=5) was 80–102% with an average of 91%; in EDTA plasma (n=5) was 81–100% with an average of 90%; and in heparin plasma (n=5) was 80–89% with an average of 84%. Linearity across dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 was 87–91%, 87–107%, 74–101% and 92–97% for serum (n=5); 90–105%, 84–101%, 90–101% and 79–108% for EDTA plasma (n=5); and 84–95%, 92–105%, 82–105% and 89–91% for heparin plasma (n=5).
