Human Dipeptidase 1, Renal ELISA Kit

A sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) supplied by Antibodies.com, intended for the in vitro quantitative measurement of human Dipeptidase 1, Renal (DPEP1/MDP) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. Standards and test samples are added to the wells of a microplate pre-coated with an antibody specific for DPEP1/MDP, and captured analyte is detected using a Biotinylated Anti-DPEP1/MDP Antibody, an HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate. The reaction is stopped with an acidic solution, and the absorbance at 450 nm is read in a microplate reader and compared with a standard curve to determine DPEP1/MDP concentration.

The kit is reactive with human samples and is reported to have a sensitivity of <0.050 ng/ml and an assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml. Typical assay time is 4h 30m. Recovery has been characterised (n=5) in serum (average 91%, range 80–102%), EDTA plasma (average 90%, range 81–100%) and heparin plasma (average 84%, range 80–89%), with dilution linearity demonstrated at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 in each matrix. The assay is performed on a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 × 8 well strips; supplied components include lyophilised standard, Detection Solutions A and B, 30× wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers, each with specified storage conditions.
