Human Dimethylarginine Dimethylaminohydrolase 2 ELISA Kit

The Antibodies.com Human DDAH2 ELISA Kit is a sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (sELISA) designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human DDAH2 in tissue homogenates, cell lysates or other biological fluids. The assay employs a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, with an antibody specific for DDAH2 immobilised on the plate surface. Standards and samples are added to the wells, followed by a Biotinylated Anti-DDAH2 Antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is then used to visualise the enzymatic reaction, producing a blue-coloured product that changes to yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution; the absorbance is read at 450 nm in a microplate reader and the DDAH2 concentration is calculated against the standard curve.

The reported sensitivity is <0.119 ng/ml and the assay range is 0.312-20 ng/ml. The platform is a pre-coated microplate with colourmetric detection and an assay time of 4h 30m. Storage instructions specify keeping components at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit must not be used past its expiration date.
