Human Dimethylarginine Dimethylaminohydrolase 1 ELISA Kit

From the Antibodies.com Assays and Kits range, this is a sandwich-format ELISA for the quantitative measurement of human DDAH1 in tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids.

The assay uses pre-coated microplate wells with an immobilised DDAH1-specific antibody, followed by a Biotinylated Anti-DDAH1 Antibody and HRP-Avidin conjugate, with detection at 450 nm using TMB substrate on a colorimetric microplate reader. The stated assay range is 0.156–10 ng/ml with a sensitivity of 0.056 ng/ml, and the total assay time is 4 h 30 min. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.

Spike-and-recovery performance is reported for serum (average 91%), EDTA plasma (average 90%) and heparin plasma (average 84%) across dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 (n=5 each).
