Human Dihydropyrimidinase ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of human dihydropyrimidinase (DPYS) in tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) on which an antibody specific for DPYS is immobilised. Standards and samples are added to the wells, followed by a biotinylated anti-DPYS antibody, an HRP-avidin conjugate and a TMB substrate solution. The enzymatic reaction produces a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of the acidic stop solution, and absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

Reported sensitivity is less than 0.31 ng/ml and the standard assay range is 0.781–50 ng/ml. Total assay time is approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. The kit contains a pre-coated microplate, lyophilised standard, detection solutions A and B, 30X wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers.
