The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) and a biotinylated anti-AKR1C1/AKR1C2 detection antibody with HRP-avidin and TMB substrate; absorbance is read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader.

The product range is 0.156-10 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.061 ng/ml. Total assay time is 4h 30m.
